OiTr is Japan's pioneering service that provides free sanitary napkins in private restrooms. The application allows users to manage and predict their menstrual cycles while also monitoring their overall health.

Receiving Napkins

1. Download and install the OiTr app (free of charge).
2. Open the app and press the eject button on the app screen.
3. With the app interface open, bring your smartphone close to the OiTr logo (in green) on the dispenser.
4. Once communication is established, a napkin will dispel from either the left or right outlet.
5. Gently pull out the dispensed napkin using your hand.

Accessibility of Sanitary Products

The service leverages the widespread use of smartphones to ensure that those in need can access sanitary products without overconsumption. This approach aims to make these essential products available solely to those who require them.

No Initial User Registration Required

Users can access a single napkin without registering upon their first use—simply download the app. For subsequent requests, user registration will be necessary, which can be done at your convenience.

Free Usage Limits

Upon completing registration, each user is entitled to up to seven free tickets within a 25-day period after their first usage. After this period, ticket availability resets, permitting another seven free usages.

Usage Frequency Guidelines

To encourage healthy habits, users can request another sanitary napkin only 2 hours after using one. This interval aligns with recommendations from product manufacturers and healthcare professionals who advise changing sanitary products every 2 to 3 hours.

Hygienic Practices

The design allows users to retrieve napkins without direct contact with the dispenser itself. Furthermore, the dispenser is treated with antibacterial properties to enhance user confidence in hygiene.
